In the movie Up, Carl Fredricksen meets a young adventerous girl named Ellie. They get married, and have a dream of going to the wilderness in South America, to see Paradise Falls. When Ellie dies, he decides to make this long journey alone to South America. Russell is a wilderness explorer guide, and is trying to get his assisting the elderly badge. Russell stows away on Carl's porch, and they go on this adventure together. Where they meet a large bird named Kevin, who follows them to the Paradise Falls. There is a bad guy in the area, whom created talking dogs to track down the large bird. One of the dogs, Doug, isn't very smart, and becomes friends with the group including the bird. Doug is supposed to take the bird as his prisoner.
I now own this movie, because I liked it so much! It shows you can have friendships, with all different sorts of people and creatures. The movie Up is appropriate for all ages. My favorite character is Doug, he loves everyone, and doesn't have a mean bone in his body. I rate this movie an A+.
Oh! I love this movie so much. It is so adorable and the dog cracks me up. I would so rate this movie a A+ also. Good choice of a movie. =]

ReplyDeleteI have seen this movie and it is a funny movie. I like how they used balloons to travel there with the house.
ReplyDeleteI can see how the storyline would appeal to a lot of people, though I was a little disappointed in this movie. I thought the secondary characters gave it the most funny moments.
