Eight Below is a tragic tale about a team of sled dogs and researchers in Alaska. There is a huge storm, and the team of sled dogs almost doesn't make it back. The sled dog trainer and driver Jerry Shepard is played by Paul Walker, he gets frostbite on his hands and must betransported out of there quickly. The team had to leave without the dogs, because they needed to get out of there before the storm hit. Jerry didn't know they left the dogs because he was unconcious for the trip back. The movie watches the struggles the dogs face on their own, and Jerry struggling to get back to them. The movie does have a happy ending.
I am in love with this movie. It has a great story line, and is very intense watching the dogs try to survive. The love that Jerry has for his dogs is inspiring. I reccomend this movie to most families, but it's very sad with the dogs almost not making it. So if the child loves dogs, it may not be a good idea to let them watch Eight Below. Paul Walker is my favorite actor, he is so dreamy. I rate this movie an A+.
Ah i loved this movie! It made me really sad that they had to leave the dogs there all alone. But it was sweet how hard he tried to get back there to rescue them.
ReplyDeleteThis is a really good movie. It is sad but I like how it has a happy ending.
ReplyDeleteI like this movie but it is sad when the dog gets hurt. I also don't like the part when the big old dog doesn't get off the chain.
ReplyDeleteI have not seen this movie. I am not really into movies about dogs.
ReplyDeleteIs this movie animated or live action? It does sound intense; what are some of the particular trials the dogs have to go through?
